The Wonders of Fall
The morning has a crisp bite in the air.
The leaves are brilliant oranges, reds and golds,
a delightful feast for the eyes.
The smell of apples wafting across the breeze,
makes my mouth water in anticipation of a fresh apple pie and a mug of hot cider.
Children can be spyed playing on the school playground at recess,
their giggles floating to the ears of passersby.
The early hint of snow reminds of that summer has passed and winter will soon be upon us.
The harest moon has risen and the wheel of the year turns. |

TWILIGHT LOVE
As night falls a soft breeze caresses my skin like a lover
The wind gently whispers in my ear
Darkness surrounds me as if it were a cloak
The sweet wine is pleasing to the palate
The strawberries so sweet they make me dizzy
The musky smell of you makes my heart pound
I breathe in your scent and know that I have forever lost my heart
Your kiss is more intoxicating than the most potent liquor
Your touch sends shivers down my spine and makes my knees weak
When the morning comes and you are gone I begin to weep |
Divnine Light
Morning comes
I'm showered with the suns divine light.
The warm rays caress my skin like a lovers touch.
The warmth is nourting like your love.
As evening comes, the sun departs.
Twilight begins as the breeze blows through my hair.
Reminding me of when your fingers find their way to my hair.
The moon rises and she bathes with in her divine light. As moonbeams fall across my skin, I raise my face and thank nature for her divine light. |
